Boreal Blade Hot

Boreal Blade
User rating

4.7 (2)

Asymetrical shoe with a slight down curve at the toe. Due to the rigidity at the toe it offers positive support on all types of foot holds.

Been using the Blade for half year, for me is the best achieved shoe produced by Boreal(still didn't tried the New Storm) in the last years, I've used lots of them: Falcon, Mutant, Piraña, Stingma, Stinger, Matrix, Crux ...(cant remember all of them)

This shoe is really well suited for small holds, you feel lot of control under your big toe, being edging or pulling.
Found a very good performance on overhangs where it really stays on small holds.
After breaking in they get better for smearing(it helps if they are not to small)

The heel is the best one I've tried (the same heel as Mutant, Piraña, Falcon and the new Storm) it needs some adaptation in terms technic but after that, you will choose no other shoe for hard heel hooking (and it never slips off)

In terms of comfort, Boreal has one of the best shoe shaping in the market, this shoe is no exception.

It has also very good construction, near their limit and still no ungluing or any other problems related with bad materials or construction.

Superbe!
