Great shoes for the price! The Bandit has great edging power as well as solid heels and toes. While other rubber may be better in the gym, these shoes are plenty sticky outdoors once broken in. I wear my shoes tight, about a size and a half smaller than my street shoes, and can stand on smaller edges in these shoes than any other i have owned. I have had no problems with stretch in the Bandit. I would definitely recommend this shoe to others!

to began i love these shoes. I use these more than my optimus primes. For the price you can't find a better shoe. There $99 dollars, but i think i paid $68 at rock creek when they had a sell. The bandits are super comfy. I sized them a half size down and i can wear them all day, either walking around the boulderfield or up and down sport routes. However my feet tend to sweat so they have begun to smell pretty bad, but I believe all of my other climbing shoes have. I mostly boulder and do sport climbs and i think they excel in both. However if you boulder over v7 or so you may want to get a more aggressive shoe. The friction is great. These also smear really well. They still edge pretty good. Sometimes its hard to fit a toe into the really small pockets. I have had these shoes since Christmas are are still holding up like a champ. I would defiantly recommend these to a friend. Especially if they are starting out or for a shoe they can work problems or routes in.

No joke these shoes are the real deal. They stick like crazy and you honestly won't know what they are like until you put a pair on. They are amazingly comfortable because they have a micro-fleece liner, which at first I thought would make them hold the stink. But they def don't and I have some horrible smelling feet. They edge really well even some of the smallest cracks and jibs are obtainable and usable. They are really great for heel hooking and even toe hooks and hold like glue, I would even use the term bomber. They def don't disappoint at the crux of a climb either and really fit well when walking the gym to your next climb. I would recommend these to anyone and any climber out there who is dedicated, and wants a long lasting shoe. good luck and hope this helped.

These are great shoes they are durable, comfortable, fairly sticky and inexpensive. I have used this on many crack climbs bouldering problems, and steep face climbs. They fit my foot perfectly allowing for easy heal hooking and smearing. I would definitely buy these again.

I have been climbing for a little over 6 years and climbed in many different shoes from many different brands. This shoe for me is the best shoe out there period. I have been wearing them for the past month and climbed everything from overhanging basalt sport routes to limestone boulders, granite slabs, faces and cracks. I have been a fan of Evolve for a long time due to the fact that they split size shoes. This is important for someone like me that has a full size difference in the shoe area. I liked climbing on the Pontas but the heal was too baggy, and all around to wide of a shoe for me. I liked climbing on the predators again to wide of a shoe and just not an all around shoe. The Red bandit however fits my foot perfectly. There is no gap in the heal the lacing system is superb and can be cranked down tight for face, sport or hard slab, then I can turn around and tie it loss and they will be super comfy for long multipitch routes. As far as performance is concerned they have outperformed every other shoe I have ever owned on everything. They are flexible enough for slab and super sensitive, they jam well, the new echo trax rubber is by far the stickiest rubber I have ever worn, it will smear on nothing, trust me trust your feet with this stuff 11.a slab is a walk in the park. Honestly I never liked climbing slabs until I got these shoes now I love it. Although this rubber is so sensitive and sticky it still edges with the best of them, so when your first few pitches are hard slab that turn into steep face and cracks you will have no problem transitioning. Buy this shoe, you will not regret it. I'm going to buy another pair just so when I send them in for resoling I don't have to be without them for a few weeks.

These are basically beginner shoes. Theyre pretty cheap, pretty comfortable and pretty decent for stictly indoor. I personally wouldnt get a pair if you climb harder than v2 outside, but if youre just starting out, these would be great to get you going.
