Are these still on the market? They were my first climbing shoe, but I haven't noticed them at any shops lately. I don't know how much information I can give, because it was a while ago, but these shoes were really comfortable. I managed to buy them tight enough so I never needed to add socks, but I think it's very common for first-time shoe buyers to miss the mark here (judging by how many climbers I've seen at the gym wearing socks with these).

I really loved them, but I didn't have much to compare them to. They were stiff, and they're still intact (I've since switched to more aggressive shoes for almost everything, but I did give them a good beating for a long time).

If you're a beginner, you don't need to worry about the tiny edges – these will make sure you spend all your time climbing and none sitting around nursing your damaged feet. That's the most important thing.

By far the toughest shoe I have ever seen

This shoe is tough. I have worn the same pair in the gym for over two years and the shoe is holding up great. Really comfortable, fits well. This shoe will make an excellent durable trad shoe. Dollar for dollar toughest shoe I have ever seen. Not the best shoe for technical sport or bouldering
