Amazing beginner shoe!
Been using this shoe for about a year now and it has performed phenomenally. The edges held tight against the thinnest of holds and could manage to stick tricky heel hooks. The materials are keeping up very well although they just stopped turning my feet red from the dye. I would definitely recommend this shoe to any beginner who wants a great bang for their buck shoe.

The best thing about these shoes is how comfortable they are! I can wear them all day no problem, though they are 2 sizes smaller than my street shoe. They aren't high performance for smearing or edging, but they work ok. If you're out for an easy day on the crag or doing some multi-pitch stuff at a difficulty level you are really comfortable with, this is a perfect shoe. If you're really trying to push your limits go with something stiffer.

My first shoe and I am extremely happy with it. The grip wasn't always the greatest but it was more than adequate for a first shoe. One plus is if you have some big ol' wide feet like me. I bought them a half size small and tied them tight to get a great fit and they broke in really quick (3 weeks for me I felt). One negative is that they aren't the greatest for edging but if you are looking for an overall good first shoe this is a great choice and is especially good if you are looking for a shoe that you can wear all day on the rock.

Phenomenal beginners shoe. Good enough all around shoe to get you to and through the net level of whatever discipline you decide upon wether it be bouldering, sport, trad, or gym. Great for all day comfort. When in doubt err on the tighter side as they do stretch. Only catch is the soles wear quickly and tend to pull away from the shoe. Any peeling is easily repaired. They do stain your feet, but it washes off. If you have large feet like I do US 15.5, you won't be disappointed.

Very comfortable and sticky, great edges when new. Comfortable enough to wear on LONG routes and agile enough for HARD problems. The only downsides I've found are the soles are soft causing them to wear quickly, and on mine the soles began to separate from the rand within weeks of purchase. I still wear them and they're still a great all around entry level shoe
