User rating

4.5 (4)

Designed to provide powerful, technical edging AND crack climbing prowess without compromising either. This game changing, mid-height edging machine will take you out of a technical thin hands to rattley fingers crack and out on to the diciest dime edges you can find. Thin padding in the ankle and above the toes protects you in the cracks and the patented P3® platform delivers sensitive yet powerful edging abilities. The toes flat fit is perfect for comfortable crack climbing and the ventilated tongue and lateral rand perforations promote air-flow. We worked with Vibram® on a new rubber compound that works best for technical edging and developed the XS Edge compound which holds an edge better on sharp micro edges.

Best Trad shoe on the market today. Edges like a machine, smears very well, and makes light work of all cracks from finger to fist! Not the best choice for bouldering or super steep routes, but that is not what these shoes were designed for. The super stiff platform and P3 design enable you to stand on dime sized edges without burning out the calves or big toes as you might in a slipper. These are not quite as sensitive as some of my other shoes, so they took a little getting used to the feel, but the rubber is excellent and just grips to the smallest of edges like glue. This is a fantastic, all day trad shoe and should be a part of your quiver if comfort and performance is what you are after!

Oh my... these shoes fit me like a glove. Made for skinny feet... have a huge gap between the two sides so you can really crank the laces down... super comfy tongue never hurts no matter how tight. Incredible edging. I am tempted to stock up on them in case they are ever discontinued. Ferrari pricing... but proababy more important than the mortgage or food in the long run.

Good solid well-built shoe. I trad climb most of the time and the TCPro works great in that venue. Comfortable>

I love these shoes for granite and sandstone routes. This shoe paired with a Sportiva Solution you can do anything. Crack climbing in these is a dream and they still edge like a muira. I'm siked.
