Mad Rock's Asylum is Mad Rubber gone totally Mad. This shoe is made entirely of climbing rubber. Using Mad Rock proprietary technology, they form the entire shoe of ventilated Mad Rubber #3 around a compression molded upper and line it with a wicking soft polyster lining for cool comfort. With a 4mm rand and a 6mm sole, these shoes are durable enough to stand up to the rigors of rental programs and are already set to add to your fleet with clearly marked sizes molded into the heels. The Asylum fits a variety of feet and laces down into the toe for maximum adjustment. You can keep your fleet in top form because the Asylum is not only easy to resole and rerand, it is also washable. A quick dunk into a bucket of water, hang it and the shoe is ready for the next pitch in just a few hours. The Asylum is loaded with Mad Rock's usual technical features including the hooking heel and Aggro-upper, offset lacing for easy jamming into cracks and superior edging. The Asylum is the new favorite of crack climbers and we are told is becoming the secret weapon for urban boulderers.
