Awesome Shoe. Only problem is you cant climb slabs... so if you wing that way get the sportiva Nago or the Scarpa Force. But anything that is 90 or steeper, this shoe is amazing for. Not too comfortable, but not insanely bad. Just takes a while to get used to them. I tested these shoes out against the Muira, Solution, testarossa, and feroce, and picked this one out based on the amount of power i could get out of it, and how it fit my foot well. However, not everyones foot is the same, so test the shoes yourself before buying.
Someone that used to work at the gym i work at left these shoes there when he left the gym and his shoes fit me pretty well. I honestly feel like this is the scarpa version of the la sportiva solutions. great shoe for edging in, great shoe on overhang, really good rubber, it sticks to most holds and can get in real deep. I just have one complaint and that would be, like most scarpas, the heel feels funny and flimsy. There isnt too much there to grip when you need to throw a heel.
still the best shoe iv ever used...
Steep climbing ftw!
If you want a shoe that's ridiculously downturned, sensitive enough to find those micro holds, but stiff enough to stick them, then this is your shoe. This is not a trad climbing shoe. This shoe is for climbing the horizontal gnar and knowing your toes and heel are staying where you put them. Almost too downturned for some pockets and edging, but can't beat them for toeing in.
